About Cooking Camp
At each stage of the year there is a food in season - fresh for the picking, preparing and sharing.
Each week, kids attending Cooking Camp will learn to know a locally grown, in-season food, how to cook it and how to hold a feast with friends. Kids will also learn how to set and decorate a table and best of all, how to clean it all up.
Parents get the morning off and upon return, kids who can cook!
Cooking Camps are healthy, connect to our environment and pass on skills that have been used traditionally for generations. Kids will have the opportunity to meet the farmers who grow the food in New South Wales as well as our regional producers.
There are many ideas behind Cooking Camp but the heart of it is based on children, at an early age, developing a love and appreciation of cooking, the joys of farm fresh produce and the value of sharing meals together with friends and family.
